"Jake, Aubrey and I would have weird characters that we would play between takes, like in the car because we were in the car for so long….Aubrey was like my mom and Jake was my dad and they were unhappy. Jake was an alcoholic and Aubrey was allegedly selling herself (Jake was always accusing her), and I was the son no one knew where I came from because I didn’t look like him and Jake was always rude to me. And Aubrey would say, “Don’t say anything, son.” And we were miked and the sound guy would just laugh."
